Fine Federal inlaid mahogany serpentine sideboard, the top with inlaid edge and serpentine front above a case with a crossbanded frieze drawer, a pair of bowed crossbanded doors below inlaid with leafage and lilies of the valley at the center within an ova reserve, a deep drawer and a cupboard door, both with concave fronts flanking, the dies wit elongated bookend-inlays and oval paterae continuing to an inlaid apron, the sides inlaid with stellate devices, on bellflower-inlaid square-tapering legs ending in spade feet. Probably Baltimore, Maryland, circa 1800
