Federal Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard, New York, circa 1790, the rectangular top with broken front and inlaid edge above a conformingly-shaped case with three cross-banded frieze drawers and inlaid oval dies, four cupboard doors below inlaid with fan spandrels continuing to inlaid square tapering legs with cross-banded cuffs. Height 42 in. (1.07 m.); length 5 ft. 9 ½ in. (1.77 m.); depth 24 ¾ in. (63.0 cm.). Provenance: Ginsburg & Levy, Inc., New York. Estimate 10,000-15,000
