Very fine and rare Hepplewhite mahogany serpentine front sideboard
with recessed center bowed compartment flanked by concave turrets and canted center legs;
the tapered legs have elongated diamond panel inlay with rectangular and diamond panels
flanking the cupboards and drawers; the drawers, cupboards and top edge are bordered by
black and white line inlay; fine bronze color; the secondary wood of long leaf pine
determines its Southern origin. Virginia or North Carolina circa, 1780-1800. 42" high, 5' 11" long, 26
