A very fine Sheraton carved mahogany
kidney-shaped sideboard, "D" shaped with concave
center, having three long drawers above a conforming "hollow"
center cabinet section and convex end doors, the tapering reeded legs with acanthus carved
capitals and turned stump feet. Both the distinctive capital carving and the disc turning
and taper of the feet are known as the work of Ephraim Haines,
Philadelphia, circa 1800-1815. 42" high, 73" wide, 27" deep |
