A fine and rare Hepplewhite mahogany floral and fan inlaid bow-front
small sideboard. The doors and drawers are bordered by curly maple cross-banding,
while the doors have dark and light fan quadrants in the corners. The star and floral
inlay on the legs and stiles and the cross-banded edge of the top border add to the beauty
of this piece. It is a brilliant creation with a golden patina. Portsmouth area, circa
1800. 39 3/8"
high, 54" wide, 22" deep |
