A very fine and rare Federal inlaid mahogany sideboard
with elliptical bowed front and serpentine center,
the top with inlaid edge above a conformingly-shaped case with two line-inlaid cupboard
doors centering one line-inlaid long drawer over a pair of line-inlaid cupboard doors on
line inlaid square tapering legs ending in crossbanded cuffs. Philadelphia, circa
1795-1800. 39" high (1 m.); 5' 11" wide (1.8 m.); 26 ½" deep (67 cm.). |
