A very fine classical mahogany marble and
silver-gilt sideboard, the rectangular white marble top over a
projecting frieze consisting of three short drawers, having satinwood and crossbanded
rosewood veneered dies, supported by four white marble columns with silver-gilt capitals
and bases and four paneled cupboard doors, the whole on carved paw feet. New York,
circa 1830. 43"
high (1.09 m.); 5' 8" long (1.73 m.); 21" deep (53 cm.). |
