A very fine Federal inlaid mahogany "D"
shaped sideboard, surmounted by a brass gallery with Greek key terminals,
the oblong top with straight front above a case with two convex
drawers centering a single frieze drawer, above a hinged cupboard door with pair of bottle
drawers flanking and a pair of hinged convex doors, on line-inlaid square tapering legs
ending in crossbanded cuffs. New York, circa 1795-1805. 42" high (1.07 m.); 67" wide (1.70 m.); 25 ¾" (64 cm.) Feet reduced in height. |
