A very fine Federal inlaid cherrywood serpentine front sideboard, the oblong top above three long drawers and two flanking lower drawers, each with cockbeaded edges and quarter fan inlays connected by string inlays, the ends faced to simulate two working drawers, on square tapering legs ending in crossbanded cuffs. New York or Connecticut, circa 1795-1800.

41" high (1.04 m.); 83" wide (2.11 m.); 27 ¾" deep (69 cm.)
