A fine late Federal figured mahogany pedestal
sideboard, the back with crossbanded splashboard flanked by two shallow drawers above a
case with a frieze drawer, small drawers, bottle drawers and central cupboard doors, an
additional pair of cupboard doors flanking, the crossbanded skirt continuing to
ring-turned tapering legs, ending in brass toe caps. New York, circa 1815. 54 ½" high (1.38 m.); 6' 2
¼" wide (2.289 m.); 23 ¾" (60.3 cm.) |
