Very fine classical carved and brass
inlaid figured mahogany sideboard, having a splashboard and shaped front above a case
fitted with an arrangement of five cockbeaded drawers, and four cupboard doors with arched
panels and figural uprights, the shaped and beaded base on turned legs ending in cast
brass paw feet. In the manner of Joseph Barry, Baltimore or Philadelphia, circa 1825. 47 1/2" (1.21 m.) high, 7' 1/2" (2.15 m.) long, 24" deep. Provenance: David Stockwell, Inc.,
