Fine and rare small Sheraton bow front sideboard
with gray and white marble forming a semi-circle in top board. The tall slender form
epitomizes grace. The drawers, cupboards and top edge are bordered by flame satinwood
crossbanding. The center section is bowed with reeded and fluted stiles supporting turret
corners. The beauty of the swirling crotch figured veneer is enhanced by a fine mellow
brown patina. Portsmouth, New Hampshire, circa 1800-1810. 43 3/4" high, 53 7/8" wide,
22 1/4" deep |
